Characteristics of PVC-A
PVC-A is a polymer alloy created in 1995 as a result of the collaboration of the British company North West Water with the plastics research institute Pipeline Development Lt.
The innovative additive PVCpolymer alloy (PVC-A) combines the strength of PVC-U with the ductility of Polyethylene. The combination of these materials, carefully chosen and blended, has produced a new state-of-the-art polymer alloy that meets the needs of the water industry.
The combination of the ductility and toughness characteristics of polyethylene chloride and the high strength of PVC-U has resulted in a new, high-performance product that provides toughness and durability.
The high levels of tensile strength, even under point loads, combined with the high yield strength, ensure superior performance to other plastics on the market.

Normative requirements
The LARETER PVC-A range is produced at Lareter's facility in Fiesso Umbertiano (Rovigo, Italy), a UNI EN ISO 9001 (Company Quality Certification issued by IIP - Istituto Italiano Plastici), UNI EN ISO 14 001 (Environmental Certification issued by BSI - British Standards Institution) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems issued by BSI - British Standards Institution) certified company.
- BS PAS 27: 1999 Unplasticized polyvinyl chloride alloy PVC-A pipes and bends under pressure.
- Potability certified according to M.D. No. 174 / 2004
- UNI EN 1622 - Odor and taste threshold.
